Contestants to compete for Miss Vidalia title on Jan. 21

VIDALIA — The Vidalia Women’s Club annual Miss Vidalia Pageant will be at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.
The contestants will be judged in the categories of evening wear, casual wear, fitness dance, poise, interview and most photogenic. The contestants will vote on Miss Congeniality.
This year’s Miss Vidalia contestants are Bre’Honor Harris, Brittany Stanley, Allye Braley, Jaley Havard, Madison Johnston, Kathryn Kammerdeiner, Dymonne Lee, Caylee Couie, Destiny Turner, Alexis Tyler, Kathryn Strong, Maecee Thornton, Katlyn McCarver and Mary Dooley.
Bre’Honor Harris
Miss Harris is the daughter of Brenda Harris and Christopher Hagans. She is a senior at Vidalia High School where she is a member of the student council, advisory council, FCA, and the Vidalia basketball team where she currently serves as captain. She attends St. Stevenson Baptist Church in Vidalia where she enjoys dancing on the praise dance team. Miss Harris’s sponsor is Ami Caldwell and her page is MaKaligh Owens.
Brittany Stanley
Miss Stanley is the daughter of Jason and Diana Stanley. She is a senior at Delta Charter High School. In her spare time, she loves to fish. She is a member of the Delta Charter Fishing team. Miss Stanley’s sponsor is Kaye Harris and her page is Avery Reeves.
Allye Braley
Miss Braley is the daughter of Todd and Kellye Braley. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of the Beta Club, 2015 VHS Conexiones Cajun Army Angels, VHS cheerleaders and was selected as a 2016-2017 UCA All-American where she danced in London for the New Year’s Parade. Miss Braley’s sponsor is Jessica Franklin and her page is Molly Shirley.
Jaley Havard
Miss Havard is the daughter of Lisa Freeman and Jason Havard. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of the student council, FCCLA and a 2-year member of PBIS. She is also a 4-year member of the VHS cheerleaders where she currently serves as captain. Miss Havard’s sponsor is Rhonda Havard and her page is Lena Dorcey.
Madison Johnston
Miss Johnston is the daughter of Jackie and Darla Johnston. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. When not being active with her school, she attends First Lutheran Church in Natchez. She is a four-year lettermen for the Vidalia High School Lady Vikings, three-year trainer for the VHS football team and was selected as the 2016 VHS homecoming queen. Miss Johnston’s sponsor is Tuttie Melton and her page is Mia Drane.
Kathryn Kammerdeiner
Miss Kammerdeiner is the daughter of John and Sheri Kammerdeiner. She is a member of Highland Baptist Church in Natchez. She is a senior at Vidalia High School where she is a member of the Beta Club, Key Club, PBIS, gifted/talented music program for Concordia Parish and the Viking Elite Dance team where she serves as Captain. Miss Kammerdeiner’s sponsor is Jessie Smith and her page is Helen Smith.
Dymonne Lee
Miss Lee is the daughter of Johnny and Kristie Allen. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of the FCA, PBIS, FCCIA and the Viking Elite Dance team. Miss Lee’s sponsor is LaShaye Parker, and her page is Gabby Parker.
Caylee Couie
Miss Couie is the daughter of Chris and Cindy Couie. She is a senior at Vidalia High School where she is a member of the Key Club, Beta Club, PBIS and FCCIA. She has served as a cheerleader for four years. Miss Couie’s sponsor is Miranda Seyfarth and her page is Allie Welch.
Destiny Turner
Miss Turner is the daughter of Dustin and Crissie Turner. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of the DECA Club and the Viking Elite Dance team. Miss Turner’s sponsor is Amy Johnson and her page is Lyric Warner.
Alexis Tyler
Miss Tyler is the daughter of Alice Smith. She is a senior at Vidalia High School where she has been a member of the FCCLA for two years, FCA for two years, student council and the talented/gifted music program for Concordia Parish for six years. She is also a member of the Viking Elite Dance team. Miss Tyler’s sponsor is Katie Beach and her page is Lillie Beach.
Kathryn Strong
Miss Strong is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Strong. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of the newspaper staff, PBIS and serves as a Viking Raider. Miss Strong’s sponsor is Brenda Brown and her page is Rachel Brown.
Maecee Thornton
Miss Thornton is the daughter of Cindy Peterman and Wade Thornton. She is a senior at Delta Charter School where she is a member of the Delta Charter softball and soccer teams. She is also a member of SGA, BETA and First Priority. Miss Thornton’s sponsor is Vanessa Hauck and her page is Jade Dason.
Katlyn McCarver
Miss McCarver is the daughter of Wesley and Kerry McCarver. She is a senior at Vidalia High School. She is a member of BETA and the VHS softball team. Miss McCarver’s sponsor is Megan Harveston and her page is Kolby Henney.
Mary Dooley
Miss Dooley is the daughter of Keri Arnold and Dewey Dooley. She is a senior at Delta Charter School where she serves as a cheerleader. She is also a member of the Delta Charter softball team. Miss Dooley’s sponsor is Kally Murray and her page is Addison Charrier.
