CLEMSON, S.C. — Services for Geneva Clyde McNair Park, 88, of Clemson, S.C., widow of Eugene Park, who died Monday, July 25, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Clemson Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Sinclair officiating.
Burial will follow Cemetery Hill under the direction of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central, S.C.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Park was born Nov. 27, 1922, in Stapleton, Ga., the daughter of Jeptha Isaiah and Willie Bell Huff McNair. She married Eugene Park Sept. 13, 1947, in Atlanta and moved to Clemson where she has made her residence ever since.
She was an honor graduate of Anderson College, now Anderson University, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Denmark Society. She was a charter member of Clemson Presbyterian Church and was active in her church and community.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Park Hungerford of Natchez and Meredith Park Glover and husband, Don, of Clemson; three grandchildren, Jonathan Hungerford of Clemson, Betsy Hungerford Iles and husband, Geoff, and Caroline Park Hungerford, all of Natchez; one sister, Mrs. Edward E. “Evelyn” Brooks of Suwanee , Ga.; and one brother, J.I. McNair Jr. of Evans, Ga.
