Need a good scare? Beware Cox Hill

It’s almost Halloween. Where did the year go? Seems like yesterday when we were doing this for the 2007 season.
But here we are and lurking around the corner is our annual Cox Hill Fall Festival and Haunted Trail Ride. This year we are really excited because its our 10th anniversary. Wow!
This means that this year has to be extra special, extra scary and definitely needs extra people. But don’t worry, we have a few things up our sleeves.
We are going crazy out of our minds getting scenes and characters ready this year. What I mean by that is that we have just gone all out on decorating so that we can get your attention at every scene.
We still have our original characters of course. We also have scenes where you think no one is there but your not actually sure and before you have time to blink your eyes, suddenly there is — well, you didn’t actually think I was going to tell you, did you?
You will have to come find out for yourself. Besides the trail ride, we have activities for you to do in the front while you wait for the ride.
We have concessions, games, space jumps, haunted house for the kids, and entertainment by DJ Nate-Dog on both weekends.
This year the events will be from 7 p.m. until on Oct. 24 and 25 and Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Admission is $7 adults and $4 for children.
On Thursday Oct. 30 we will have a special “walk the trail” night for $1 for everyone.
As you know, all our fall festivals have been done as benefits and this year we are more than happy to help out the Gauthier family from here in Natchez to help pay for funeral expenses.
It’s very important to us on Cox Hill that we stay connected to our community and by doing these festivals every year we are making our community stronger by helping one another.
So don’t forget to come out and join us this 2008 season for some great fun and great entertainment.
Just take Liberty Road to Springfield Road, you will see the lights.
We have done a few transitions for parking, but don’t worry, there are plenty of places to park.
We offer a safe environment for you and your children, and don’t worry if you see anything out of the ordinary. Just come on in and see us.
I personally promise that you will have a great time.
I will be seeing you on the trail.
You may not see me and you may not know who I am, but I will be seeing you and exactly where you are.
