FLORENCE — Services for Diane West Braddy, 65, of Florence, an educator, who died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Florence.
Arrangements are under the direction of People’s Funeral Home in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Diane West Braddy, the third child and only daughter of George West Sr. and Artimese Anita West, was born Jan. 11, 1946, in Natchez.
Survivors include her mother; her devoted husband, Robert Sr.; one son, Robert Jr. and wife, Melissa; one daughter, Artimese Lawrence and husband, Heshium; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Marita; six brothers, George West Jr. and wife, Billie, Eddie West, John West Sr. and wife, Norma, Theodore West, James West Sr. and wife, Sharon, all of Natchez, and Samuel West and wife, Theresa, of Clinton; six brothers-in-law, R.T. Braddy Jr. and wife, Tina, of Toledo, Ohio, Levertis Braddy and wife, Rose, Ed Spence, all of Florence, Leonard Braddy and wife, Dorris, Joe Braddy Sr. and wife, Jessie, all of Jackson, and Eddie Braddy Sr. and wife, Bobbie, of Terry; four sisters-in-law, Earnestine Hollimon, Mary Berry, Berneita Williams, all of Chicago, and Linda Braddy of Tacoma, Wash.; Martha Braddy of Toledo and Martha Braddy of Jackson; three goddaughters, Brittany Diane West, Latoya Kitchens and Ashley Braddy; one godson, Morris Walters; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
