MEADVILLE — Services for Mildred Mullins Sproles, 80, of Franklin County, who died Monday, July 18, 2011, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Providence Baptist Church in Franklin County.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Sproles was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Franklin County, the daughter of Louie Mullins and Bessie Rollins Mullins. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Ray Sproles Sr.; and one son, Clarence Sproles Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Sproles Workman of Barboursville, W.Va.; six brothers, Louie Winston Mullins of Shannon, William Mullins and Stanley Mullins, both of Vicksburg, James Mullins of Brookhaven, Tony Mullins of Meadville and Marty Mullins of Natchez; four sisters, Maggie Dantzler of Walker, La., Dorothy Young of Denham Springs, La., Carolyn Rollins of Natchez and Sheila Avants of Zachary, La.; two granddaughters; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Louie Winston Mullins, William Mullins, Stanley Mullins, James Mullins, Tony Mullins, Marty Mullins, Reggie Rollins and Casey Avants.
