Ben Hillyer/The Natchez Democrat — A stack of Hesco Bastion instant levees sits along the Vidalia Riverfront as bulldozers move the sand from the instant levees Monday afternoon.

The Vidalia Riverfront was turned into a virtual beach scene Monday afternoon as crews from Womack and Son Construction Company began tearing down the Hesco Bastion instant levees that had been installed for the record flood in May.
