ASU paper published on national Web sites

The USDA-Agriculture Research Service and the International Society for Horticultural Science in Belgium have published Alcorn State University’s technology transfer paper, “C-factor Research on Horticultural Crops for Erosion Prediction: Philosophy and Methodology,” on their Web sites.

The co-authors of the paper include Dr. Alton Johnson from Alcorn State.

Dr. Girish Panicker, director of the Center for Conservation Research at Alcorn State University has been invited twice to deliver lectures to the ISHS on conservation research on horticultural crops. The Center for Conservation Research has also developed the first two cooperative research and development agreements between Alcorn State and the U.S. Army to produce renewable energy from animal waste.
