NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Genena Jaquith Wadsworth, 78, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 4, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. Alfred Camp, the Rev. Leopold Keffer and the Rev. George Pookattu officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time, both at St. Mary Basilica.

Mrs. Wadsworth was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Vicksburg, the daughter of Earl A. Jaquith and Willie P. Jaquith. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary Basilica.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Carolyn Jaquith Broussard.

Survivors include her husband, Hiram Blake Wadsworth; three sons, Alan Blake Wadsworth and wife, Carolyn, of Church Hill, William Earl Wadsworth of New Orleans and Richard Carson Wadsworth and wife, Cindy, of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Genena Lynn Wadsworth of Asheville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Hayden Blake Wadsworth and wife, Holli, Aliza Kate Wadsworth, Neville Thomas Hayes, Marlee Carson Wadsworth, Cameron Blake Wadsworth and Carson June Wadsworth; one sister, Catherine Jaquith Meng and husband, Catty, of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Carson Wadsworth of Medford, Ore.; one brother-in-law, George A. Broussard of Baton Rouge; and number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Meng, James Meng, Hayden Wadsworth, Todd Broussard, Neville Hayes and Clint Seale.
