ROXIE — The Franklin County Water Association has issued a boil-water notice for 216 customers in the area off old Mississippi Highway 33 in Roxie, including the Pine Forest subdivision.

The system suffered a break in the line that caused loss of pressure.

Customers are advised to boil their drinking water for one minute prior to consuming until the association announces the water has been tested safe to drink.
