NATCHEZ — Two teenagers allegedly involved in multiple burglaries and armed robberies have been arrested by the Natchez Police Department.
Sgt. Craig Godbold said Jamara Carradine, 17, 204 Dumas Drive, and Gerald Davis, 15, No. 22 Fifth St., were arrested early Thursday morning.
Carradine was arrested at his Dumas Drive residence at 5 a.m. and charged with armed robbery.
He is being held without bond at the police department. Godbold said Carradine will not be able to make bond because he’s already out on bond on a previous felony charge of aggravated assault.
Davis was arrested in the county off Grafton Circle.
He fled into the woods from police officers and sheriff’s deputies but was soon apprehended, Godbold said.
The remaining teen police have identified as a suspect is Jumar Jackson, 16, 5 Tyler Court.
Godbold said it is believed Jackson is attempting to get out of town to his father’s residence in Hattiesburg.
Police officials suspect that seven teenagers are involved with multiple burglaries and two armed robberies that have taken place within the past two months.
The armed robberies involve a local bar in which a bartender was shot at and a hold up of a pizza delivery man on Fifth Street.
Two teens were arrested in connection with the armed robbery at the local bar The Talk of the Town.
Jovanti D. Barnes, 16, 2-A Garden St., and Carlton Johntrell Hoggatt, 18, 225, School St., Ocean Springs, were both arrested and charged with robbery with a deadly weapon Sunday.
Barnes and Hoggatt are being held at the Natchez Police Department, and Godbold said both received additional charges of burglary Thursday.
Police have not yet released the identities of the two remaining teens.
At this point, Godbold said officials believe both teenagers are out of town.
