KIRBY — Services for Andrew Bell, 84, of Meadville, who died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Kirby.

Burial will follow at Mount Olive/Baldwin Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Bell was born March 10, 1927, in Roxie, the son of Andrew Sr. and Margaret Hunt Bell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mattie Nelson Bell; four sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include one sister, Evie Bell Shaw and husband, J.L., of McComb; a devoted niece, Jwyana Bellamy of Bude; three stepchildren, Josephine, Ruth and Morris; a special grandchild, Ricky Nelson of Fayette; a special family friend, Gloria Cameron of McCall Creek; a faithful cousin, Lottie Neal of Roxie; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
