Animal tracks will be explored

Natchez — Whose tracks are those? What two common Mississippi animals have tracks that look like little human hands? Can you tell if a deer is a male or female just from their tracks?

The answers to these questions and more will be answered during Historic Jefferson College’s February EXPLORE! Animal Tracks program on Feb. 14.

Students will use rubbing plates to make track booklets, make plaster animal foot casts from silicone track molds and learn about the seven gaits of animals.
