NATCHEZ — A man was wounded Sunday after two men demanded money from him at knifepoint.
At approximately 2 p.m., the victim was unloading his truck in the 300 block of North Union Street when two men approached him, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
One of the men was described as a black male wearing dark pants and a gray long-sleeve shirt, and the other was described as a black male wearing black pants.
One of the subjects reportedly pulled a knife on the victim and demanded money, and when the victim did not comply the suspect allegedly swung the knife and struck him in the left hand, Mullins said.
The suspects then ran off, and the victim was later treated and released from a local hospital.
The victim denied knowing who the two suspects were, but declined to file a report, Mullins said.
