STARKVILLE — The following students from Adams County and the surrounding areas were named to the dean’s scholars list for the 2008 fall semester at Mississippi State University.

Dean’s list students achieved a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79 based on a 4.0 scale while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Student named to the dean’s list are Cage M. Cruise, Caroline Edwards, Andrew Ellard, Charles Emrick, Lee. M. Guedon, Michelle L. Guedon, Parker B. Jones, Shanetra D. Jones, Williams A. Middleton and Charles Powers, all from Natchez, and Ashely M. Rice from Woodville an d Erin O. Hyatt from Ferriday.

Student’s on the president’s list achieved a 3.8 grade point average or better based on a 4.0 scale.

Students had to complete at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
