FERRIDAY — Services for Rosie Price, 77, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. today at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. T.A. Baker Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Ms. Price was born April 7, 1934, in Black Hawk, La., the daughter of Dave Collins and Tempie Goffner.

She was a retired janitor for Concordia Parish Schools and a member of the Evening Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Price and wife, Debra, of Ferriday and Henderson Price Jr. and wife, Cherryll of Leander, Texas; five brothers, two sisters; and three grandchildren, LaToya, Terrence and Dominique Price.
