NATCHEZ — The British man who was hospitalized in October after being knocked down outside of Doc Biglove’s has died.

According the Natchez Polige Sgt. Craig Godbold, Alexander John Whyte, 50, was removed from life support Saturday.

The cause of Whyte’s injuries, which led to doctors removing a portion of his skull and put him in a medical coma, is still unknown.

Whyte was reportedly trying to enter the bar early morning on Oct. 4 when he was pushed down.

Godbold said the police currently have no leads, but the investigation is ongoing.
