Justin Spinks receives Hometown Hero Award

PARHAMS, La. — Justin B. Spinks recently received the Hometown Hero Award from Congressman Rodney Alexander for his many accomplishments and activities.
Spinks’ participation in the commuinty includes serving as fire chief of Parhams Volunteer Fire Deptartment, deacon at the Parhams Baptist Church, song leader and volunteer deputy for the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office, Catahoula corrections officer, Catahoula Parish School board candidate, board member of Ward 9 Fire District No. 2, board member of Monterey Water, board member of Catahoula Homeland Security, vice chairman of the Homeland Security Board, Barak Shriner, circus clown, mater mason in Lodge 110 of Harrisonburg and 312 of Sicily Island, man of Catahoula in 2007, Mr. May and involvement with the Red Cross.
Spinks also recieved a key to the city of Pineville.
