FERRIDAY — Services for Charles “Bud” Milligan, 69, of Ferriday, who died Friday, June 10, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Milligan was born April 26, 1942, the son of Tom and Lou Tolliver Milligan.

Mr. Milligan was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Melvin, Jessie and Wilson Milligan; three sisters, Dorothy, Brenda and Mildred Milligan.

Survivors include three sons, Zavonta Washington of Clayton, Kelvin Ferguson of Beaumont, Texas and Shawn Moore; one step-son, Andre Moore; four daughters, Janet Mayes and Weshaunda Milligan, all of Ferriday, Zakeria Washington of Clayton and Patricia Conner of San Antonia; two brothers, Willie Milligan and James Milligan; three sisters, Elnora Milligan, Emma Conner and Willie Mae Spurs and husband, Ike, all of Ferriday; one aunt, Doris Snearl of Addis, La.; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
