NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Mary L. Johnson Kennett, 62, of Canoga Park, Calif., formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 5, 2011, were at Rose Cemetery in Reseda, Calif.

Mrs. Kennett was born Sept. 18, 1948, the daughter of Frank and Lurlene Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Johnson Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Kennett of Canoga Park; two daughters, Yolanda A. Dorsey of Dallas and Akira Kennett of Canoga Park; one son, Geoffery Dorsey of Atlanta; four sisters, Rosemary Cameron and husband, Acey, of Oakridge, Tenn., Betty Johnson, Veronica Johnson, both of Natchez, and Teletha Johnson of Memphis, Tenn.; four brothers, Lionel Johnson of Mobile, Ala., Melvin Johnson, the Rev. Wilson Johnson and wife, Marie, and Russell Johnson, all of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
