NATCHEZ — Five arrests have been made in connection with a myriad of grand larcenies stretching across multiple Mississippi counties.
Adams County Investigator Ricky Stevens said the five men — two from Brookhaven and three from Natchez — have allegedly been stealing lawn equipment, generators and utility vehicles.
Reports of stolen items in connection with the five men have come from Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Lincoln and Amite counties, he said to name a few.
Most of the items were being sold in Brookhaven, Stevens said. Many of them have been recovered.
Arrests began in late March with Darian McCoy, of Natchez. He was arrested in Columbia while allegedly trying to steal a riding lawn mower.
That arrest then led to the arrests of Jamie Loving and Dale Perry, both of Bookhaven.
And now two more suspects were arrested on Wednesday by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Kelvin Johnson and Ron Quinn of Natchez have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of grand larceny.
Both are being detained at the Adams County jail without bond until arraignment.
