FERRIDAY — Boaters may resume normal activity on Lake St. John.

The Lake St. John Commission passed a resolution April 1 closing the lake until its level fell below 55 feet.

The water fell below that level Wednesday night, Lake Commission member Billy Rucker said.

“It will be open for holiday traffic unless we get a ton of rain,” Rucker said.
