NATCHEZ — Services for Amos J. Williams Sr., 81, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Friday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.L. Hammitte Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born March 8, 1930, in Amite County, the son of Tom and Leona Williams. He was a logger and served as a deacon at Antioch Baptist Missionary Church.

He was preceded in death by two sons; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include a loving wife, Dorothy M. Williams; six daughters; four stepsons; two brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends of the family.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
