NATCHEZ — Three people were sent to the hospital Monday morning after a wreck in the intersection of Franklin and Martin Luther King Jr. streets. Natchez firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of a blue Ford contour after it was hit by a gray pickup truck.

Both drivers and another passenger of the Ford were transported to the hospital. Witnesses of the wreck saw the truck, traveling east on Franklin Street, strike the car, traveling North on Martin luther King Jr. Street, in the intersection. Natchez police are investigating the wreck.
