HOUMA, La. — Prayer service for Betty Stallone Grimes, 73, who died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, will be at 5 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home Bayou Blue.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery in Carthage with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her parents, Meno J. Stallone Sr. and Mary B. Stallone of Natchez; and two sisters, Mary Ann Stallone Reed and husband, Ollie Sr. of Natchez and Ethel Stallone Mancuso and husband, Henry Sr. “Doc” of Lake Charles, La.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Hugh Russell Grimes Sr.; one son, H. Russell “Rusty” Grimes Jr. and wife, Darlene, all of Houma, La.; three daughters, Teresha “Tee” Bonvillain and husband, Mike, of Poplarville, Alesha “Lee” Miller of Lafayette, La., and Glenda Matt and husband, Miles, also of Lafayette; one brother, Meno Stallone Jr. and wife, Freda, of Biloxi; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Grimes, Scott Bonvillain, Christopher Matt, Jason Matt, Steven Matt and Jeremy Frierson.
