Mayfair welcomes all this Saturday

The month of May is a time of celebration in most schools, with graduation of seniors and the nearing of summer vacation.
At Trinity Episcopal Day School, before we say goodbye to another school year, we take time for our annual Mayfair events. Mayfair is a long standing annual tradition at Trinity, serving as the school’s largest annual fundraiser as well as an opportunity for us to open our campus and share our Saint spirit with the community.
The Mayfair events actually began at the start of April with a successful tennis tournament and a white elephant sale followed by a fun golf tournament that was played last weekend.
The events culminate this Saturday. The fun begins at 9 a.m. on the Trinity Campus, located at 1 Mallan Morgan Drive off U.S. 61 South.
The day’s events will include exciting kids’ games and activities, a fabulous plant sale featuring potted plants and fresh garden cuttings that will delight all looking to beautify their space, and, new this year, the Trinity Deli — which will include a variety of delicious casseroles, baked goods and homemade specialties for sale.
The Mayfair Adult Night Party will be in the Trinity High School building at 7 p.m. Saturday. The cost of admission is $35, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
This fabulous event will include a silent auction, live music by local favorite In Red Letters and a celebrity cooking contest featuring specialty crawfish dishes.
Drawings will also be that night for the Mayfair package raffles, which include a variety of wonderful themed prize packages including School Spirit, Summertime Fun, Mexico Vacation and many more.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from now until the time of the drawings from any student or from the school office at 601-442-5424.
Please join us for some fun in the May sun on Mayfair day this Saturday.
