VIDALIA — Allegations of attempted murder have local authorities seeking a Ferriday man.
The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for George Green, 37, 102 T’s Road, in connection with the shooting of Damion N. White, 32, of Ferriday.
Green is described as a bald, black male, 5-foot, 10-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.
White was reportedly sitting in a chair at the corner of Earl Davis and Doty roads Sunday night when he was shot three times, once in the left knee, once in the right calf and once in the right elbow, according to a statement from the CPSO.
White reportedly told CPSO investigators that the shooting was related to a bar fight that had happened two nights prior, the statement said.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and later released.
Anyone with information about the incident or about where Green can be found is asked to contact CPSO Chief Investigator Bobby Sheppard at 318-757-3162 or 318-336-5231.
