Mary Geoghegan

STANTON — Services for Mary Virginia Geoghegan, 87, of Fayette, who died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at Stanton Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Fayette Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Geoghegan was a native of Louisville, Ky., and had lived in Fayette for the past 60 years. She was formerly employed by Jefferson County Extension Service for 31 years, retiring in 1989. She was also a member of Stanton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald Geoghegan Sr.; one son, Donald “Donnie “ Geoghegan Jr. and wife, Karen, of Port Gibson; one granddaughter, Donna Brady and husband, John, of Lorman; one grandson, Richard Geoghegan of Ridgeland; and two great-granddaughters, Lauren Brady and Anna Brady, both of Lorman.
