Discussion of illegal dumping on supervisors’ agenda Monday

NATCHEZ — The Adams County Board of Supervisors will discuss a monitor system for illegal dumping when they meet Monday at 9 a.m.
Supervisors meet the first and third Monday of each month at the county’s administrative headquarters at 314 State St.
Andy Turnage is a representative of a company that uses cameras to monitor criminal activity like illegal dumping. He is also a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy. Turnage is on Monday’s county supervisors’ agenda and is expected to make a presentation to the supervisors.
Also on the agenda are Leo Fleming, an insurance claims adjuster; Cleophus Marsaw, who is expected to discuss an erosion problem; April White, who is expected to discuss a solid waste issue, and Fred Parker, who is contracted to provide health and other benefits to county employees, is expected to give an insurance update.
County department heads will provide supervisors with updates on issues and happenings within their departments, and supervisors will provide updates involving the constituents in the districts they represent.
The public will have an opportunity to address any issues they have with county government during the meeting.
