NATCHEZ — What started out as a good game between cross-town and MAIS District 4-5A rivals Adams County Christian School and Cathedral High School turned out to be just the opposite from the second quarter on.

Cathedral senior post player Kinslee Young had another stellar performance on both ends of the court, finishing just two assists shy of a triple-double in leading the Lady Green Wave to a 47-22 win over the ACCS Lady Rebels last Tuesday night.

The Lady Rebels did their best to slow the pace of the game and play good defense against a superior Lady Green Wave. And when the first quarter was over, ACCS was only down 8-6 to Cathedral. But any thoughts of an upset quickly disappeared as the Lady Green Wave outscored the Lady Rebels 14-4 in the second quarter for a 22-10 halftime lead.
