NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Vera Lee Harris, 60, of Natchez, who passed away on Dec. 19, 2024, at Merit Health in Natchez, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Word of Faith Ambassador Worship Center at 1 p.m. with Rev. Irving Dean officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel Natchez and again on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, from noon until the service time at the church.

Vera was born on Aug. 30, 1964, in Natchez, to Katie Ruth Anderson and Andrew Johnson.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Harris; her father, Andrew Johnson; grandparents, Gladys and Homer Davis and Betty and Ben Johnson; one brother, Randy Anderson; one nephew, Randy Foster Jr. and very close friend, Gwen Stewart.
Vera leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Nichell and Crystal Anderson; three sons, Jerry Anderson, Jeramy Anderson, and Antonio (Beaver) Williams Sr., all of Natchez; granddaughters, Jayla, Angel, Nevaeh, and Jurnee Anderson and Jordan Williams all of Natchez; grandsons, Austin Frazier and Antonio Williams Jr., of Natchez; one great-grandchild, Ni’ema Jarvis of Natchez; two sisters, Della J. Anderson and Monica Butler (Terrell) of Natchez; four brothers, Andrew Anderson (Shelly Mae), Terrance Thomas, Brandon Hardin all of Natchez; and Shun Johnson (Edna) of Atlanta, GA; a special nephew, Delmas Anderson and a special niece, Roslynn Thompson; special friends, Larry Frye, Donna Walker, Barbara Myles, and Bobbie Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
