GREENVILLE, MS – Memorial services for Isaac Dudley Stewart, 81, of Greenville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at St. James Episcopal Church.
Visiting hours will be held from 1 until 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, prior to the service also at St. James Episcopal Church.

Dudley had a very affluent and varied life. He was born on Dec. 17, 1942, in Fayette. After graduating from Jefferson High School in 1960, he attended the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity, graduating in 1965.

Following his college years, Dudley embarked on a career in education, working as a teacher at Jefferson High School. He also spent time farming alongside his father. Dudley made a career change, going to work for Blue Cross and Blue Shield until he decided to open his own insurance company, Stewart and Co. LLC, which he operated until his retirement.

Throughout his life, Dudley maintained a deep connection to the outdoors. He loved spending time at the Springhill Hunting Club, and when hunting season ended, he shifted his focus to handicapping horse races at Oaklawn Park. He was also a passionate fan of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Dudley was actively involved in his community. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, serving on the vestry and finance committee. He also served as president of the local YMCA and was instrumental in helping to establish the Greenville Youth Soccer Association.

Dudley was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Dudley Stewart and Jane Hyde West Stewart.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Bee Forman Stewart; their two sons, Isaac Dudley Stewart IV (Gerard) and Richard Brent Stewart (Jennifer); as well as nine grandchildren, Chandler Brooks Mohamed Jr., Anna Vaughn Stewart, William Litton Mohamed, Douglas Forman Stewart, George Wade Mohamed, Ann Gerard Mohamed, Charles Dudley Stewart, Grace Elizabeth Stewart, and David Brent Stewart. He is also survived by his brother, John West Stewart (Beckey), and several nieces and nephews.
