Teresa was born on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1965, in Natchez, and passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, in Ferriday. Teresa was a devoted LSU fan who truly bled purple and gold, always cheering passionately for her Tigers. She loved spending time with her husband, especially at their favorite getaway, Orange Beach, where they shared many peaceful moments together. Teresa had a deep faith and served the Lord with a kind heart, singing joyfully in her church choir. Her love for her grandchildren was unmatched; she was their biggest fan, attending their games and celebrating their every success. Teresa’s warmth, enthusiasm, and unwavering support for her family and community touched everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she cherished, especially in the joyful songs she sang and the cheers she gave from the sidelines.
She is reunited with her father, Ross Cooper; mother, Shirley Taylor Marchand, and her husband, Irwin; daughter, Victoria Leigh Rymer; and brother, Douglas Dooley, Sr.
Those left behind to cherish Teresa’s memories are her husband, Craig Godbold; children, Tony Godbold, Jamie Rymer and his wife, Claire, Cristin Britt and her husband, Casey, and Myra Perry and her husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Vera Rymer, Eden Godbold, Carlee Britt, Camp Britt, Maddi Perry, Abigail Perry, Everly Godbold, Mary Lennon Perry, and Collin Montgomery; special friend, Vicki Hodge; and all of her church family.
