WOODVILLE – Carl Escher D’Aquilla, Jr., 78, of Centreville, MS, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. Carl was born on Sept. 25, 1946, in Centreville to the late Carl Escher D’Aquilla and Mildred Jones D’Aquilla.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church from 9 until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Anthonyclaret Onyeocha officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Travis D’Aquilla and Michael D’Aquilla; brothers, Gary D’Aquilla and Louis D’Aquilla; grandchildren, Mason D’Aquilla and Mary Claire D’Aquilla; nieces, Mary Hayes and Katherine Morris; and his two favorite nephews, Tyler D’Aquilla and Santi Malaymeuang.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Sue D’Aquilla; and son, Trey D’Aquilla.
