JOSEPH, LA – Funeral services for Ethel Mae Strong, 67, of St. Joseph, LA, who passed on Nov. 25, 2024, in Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church, St. Joseph, LA, with Pastor Isaiah Ross officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Herron Cemetery, St. Joseph, LA, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Ethel Mae Strong was born on Feb. 27, 1957, in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Moses Strong and Alberta Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ethel Mae Strong leaves to cherish her memories: her three nieces that she raised as her own, Myesha Strong, Janice Strong, and Patricia Mason; four brothers, Thomas Williams (Arma), Alex Williams (Charmetta), Cash Foster (Fannie), Henry Williams (Rosie Honeywood); five sisters, Renee Williams, and Alberta Washington (Elgin), all of St. Joseph, LA, Yvonne Taylor (Keith), of Mandeville, LA, Beatrice Williams, of Slidell, LA, Ruthie Brown (Odell), of Monroe, LA; one aunt, Alberta Jones, of Tallulah, LA; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
