NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Kimberly Miles Darden, 46, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, in Jackson, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Greater Fatherland Baptist Church with Rev. Roosevelt Harried officiating.
Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, from 4 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Kim was born on Feb. 22, 1978, in Natchez, the daughter of Elmo and Daisy Stewart. She graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1997 and continued her education at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Hinds Community College. She later worked as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with At Home Care until her health began to fail. Kim was a member of New Hope the Vision Center but often attended Rose Hill Baptist Church #2 in Fayette.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her sister, Wilnesha Ikard.
Kim leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted parents, Elmo “Pete” and Daisy Stewart; sisters, Victoria McCant (Eric Sr.) and Patricia Ware (Kenny Sr.); brother, Anthony Green (Jessica); aunts and uncles, Elnora Perkins, Ed and Georgia McDonald, Oliver and Lynette Stewart Sr., Mannie and Angie Stewart Sr., Leo Stewart, and Terry Washington; and a host of other relatives and friends.
