NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Mrs. Elnora Martin Greene, 82, of Vidalia, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. from the Living Word Worship Center, 8 Covington Road, Natchez. Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Her son, Pastor Dwight Greene will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Greene, daughter of Ezekial and Ada Babers Martin, was born in Goldonne, LA, and died at her residence. She was retired from Concordia Parish School System as a special education teacher. She was a graduate of Southern University and a member of Living Word Worship Center formerly Fourth Street Church of Christ of Natchez.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Windell Greene, Sr.; one daughter, LaWendellyn G. Franklin and her husband, L. C. of Vidalia; Pastor Dwight Greene and his wife, Beverley of Natchez; Donnell Greene and Windell Greene, Jr, both of Jackson, MS; Dr. Montrell Greene and his wife, Dr. Robie Greene of Greenville, MS; three brothers, Ezekial Martin, Jr. and his wife, Betty of Paris, CA; Molease Martin of Houston, TX and Jimmie Martin of Alexandria, LA. Also, seven grandchildren.
