OPELOUSAS, LA – There will be two Memorial Services held for Tammy M. Brown, 60, who passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, in Church Point, LA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, from 8 until 11 a.m. at Our Saviors Church in Opelousas, LA. Pastor Kevin LaLonde will officiate.

A Memorial Service will be held at Church Hill United Methodist Church in Church Hill, MS, on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Bo Swilley will officiate.

Tammy M. Brown was born on Nov. 18, 1963, in Natchez, and she was a longtime resident of Church Point, LA.

Tammy is survived by her children, Hannah Coley of Church Point and Ashleigh Coley of Carencro;  brother, Paul Brown of Natchez; as well as Doyle Smith of Brookhaven, MS, Hailey Barnett of Brookhaven, MS, Ashton Staeden of Brookhaven, MS, Brenda Smith of Brookhaven, MS, Dustin Treadway of Brookhaven, MS, Jamie Treadway of Brookhaven, MS, James Brown of Kansas, and Jessica Stogner of Brookhaven, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul James Brown and Dorothy Anne Brown; sisters, Ellen Smith, Dorothy “Dot” Calcotes, and Patsy J. Brown; as well as a niece, Toni Smith.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and CNAs at Hospice of Acadiana and St. Joseph Hospice, as well as Dr. Adhikari, for the care and compassion offered to Tammy M. Brown and her family during their time of need.
