Betty Stephens-Powers, 88, passed away on Oct. 11, 2024. She was born July 10, 1936, in Robstown, Texas. She was a college graduate of Texas A&M.

She was a loving mother and granny. She enjoyed watching Nascar, golf, and football. She loved spending time visiting with her friends at Plantation Manor and drinking coffee. She served many years as a member of the Natchez Garden Club.

Betty is survived by her son, Stephen Powers, and wife, Beverly, of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Leslie Hicks, and husband, Silas Simmons Hicks, of Natchez; son, Brad Powers, and wife, Tracy, of Kilgore, TX; daughter, Allex Reddin and husband, John, of Newport Beach, CA; brothers, Jim Stephens of Texas and Larry Stephens of Florida; nine grandchildren, Lauren Rocha and husband, Chris; Sim Hicks, Cole Reddin and wife, Alexa, Michael Powers, Colin Reddin and wife, Jillian, Chase Reddin and wife, Angel, Daylon Powers, Alicia Henson and Jeffrey Pace, and seven great-grandchildren, Austin Hoggatt, Mary Simmons Hicks, Holly Kate and Emma Rocha, Kalei, Indy and Carson Reddin.

The family would like to express gratitude to Adams County Nursing Center and Compassus Hospice for their love and care.

Memorials may be made to the Natchez Humane Society, as Betty loved animals.

A private memorial service for the family will be at a later date.
