NATCHEZ — Services for Edward Lee Gordon, 59, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Gordon was born Feb. 16, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Arthur Warren and Mary Gordon Jackson. He was a graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother and stepfather, Matthew Jackson Sr.; and two sisters, Bonnie Faye Jackson and Glenda M. Wigley, who died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010.

Survivors include four siblings, Margaret Jackson, Charles Jackson, Matthew Jackson and Patrick Jackson, all of Natchez; one brother-in-law, Anderson Wigley of San Diego, Calif.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
