NATCHEZ – Memorial services for Dora June George, 60, of Natchez, who passed away on Sept. 24, 2024, at Merit Health will be scheduled later by the family in North Carolina.

Dora was born on June 24, 1964, in Franklin, NC, to Kenneth Roper and Margaret Bryant Roper.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Kenneth Roper; one sister, Darla Roper and one brother, Dannie Roper.

Dora leaves to cherish her memories her husband, David Charles George; two daughters, Brianne Moses and Courtney Moses of Franklin, NC; one sister, Diane Roper of North Carolina; one brother, Donnie Roper of Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Cathy Turner of South Carolina; one stepson, Charles George of North Carolina; and other relatives and friends.
