Local students graduate from LSu

BATON ROUGE — Some 411 students graduated with academic honors at LSU’s 268th commencement exercises on Friday, May 15.
Students with grade-point averages between 3.90 and 4.0 graduated summa cum laude. Those with averages of 3.80 to 3.89 graduated magna cum laude, and those with averages between 3.70 and 3.79 graduated cum laude.
Graduates from Concorida Parish are Chelsey Lane Knapp of Vidalia, college of art and design; Casey Lee Paul of Monterey, Alexandra Margarete Roberts of Ferriday and Morgan Lynn White of Monterey, all in the college of arts and sciences and William Calhoun Carter of Vidalia from the E.J. Ourso College of Business.
Graduates from Natchez were William David Harris Jr., Brittany Suzanne Keahey and Ivan Paul Nastally, from the college of arts and sciences; Ruston Chase Brown from the college of basic sciences and Jeremy Edwin Boelte, Garrett Wayne Jones and Douglas Levon Miller from the college of engineering.
