NATCHEZ – Graveside services for Judy Reed Brown, 76, of Natchez who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Brad Watson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1948, in Eldorado, AR, the daughter of Katie Howard Reed and Marvin Franklin Reed. She was a resident of Natchez for 48 years. She graduated from Ouachita High School.

Judy married Eddie Brown on March 23, 1968, in Harrison, TX and they had four children together; Ronnie Brown, 55 of Natchez, Rhonda Brown Hunt, 53, and husband, Tim of Deville, LA, Buddy Brown, 47 and wife, Brenda of Vidalia, and Cindy Brown Richard, 39 and husband, Jeff of Vidalia; thirteen grandchildren, Mazeigh Easterling and wife, Dolly, Cody Brown, Garrett Sellers and wife, Rayne, Justin Hunt, Meagan Hicks and husband, Preston, Dakota Hunt, Sarah Womack and husband, Matthew, Drew Brown, Rachel Brown, Madison Richard, Landon Richard, Grayson Richard, and Colston Richard; four great-grandchildren, Bobby Easterling, Collins Hicks, Peyton Womack, and Parker Womack; she also left behind three loving pets, two dogs Charlie and Belle and one amazing cat, Busy.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Richard, Dakota Hunt, Garrett Sellers, Cody Brown, Drew Brown, and Justin Hunt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson Richard and Colston Richard.
