Wind advisory for southwest Mississippi for Thursday and Friday

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:13 p.m. valid from Thursday 9 a.m. until Friday 1 a.m. The advisory is for Claiborne, Jefferson and Adams counties.
The NWS says, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs and dead trees could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
