FERRIDAY, La. — Funeral services for Emma L. Campbell, 72, of Ferriday, will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will Friday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Reed will officiate.

Mrs. Campbell, daughter of Earnest Washington and Edena Campbell, was born in Ferriday and died at the RiverBridge Specialty Hospital in Vidalia.

She is survived by her two children, James Campbell and his wife Tanja; Kelli Campbell; her siblings, Donnell Campbell; Dinah Campbell all of Ferriday; Booker T. Campbell of Dallas, Texas; Mary Prophet and Shelly Washington both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and her family by love, Angela and Phillip Letard of Natchez.

Preceding her in death are her parents and five siblings, George Campbell, Earnest Campbell, Jonnett Campbell, Amelia Madison and Julia Washington.
