NATCHEZ – Tatum Brooke Turner Thomas, 26, was born on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, in Ferriday and passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at her home.

Tatum was a ray of sunshine in everyone’s day. Her playful spirit and genuine warmth made her a favorite server. Always with a bright smile and a kind word, she had an effortless way of connecting with people and making them feel special. Tatum’s fun-loving nature and outgoing personality made her a cherished friend and a beacon of positivity, touching the lives of both people and pets with her unwavering kindness.

Those left behind to cherish Tatum’s memories are her husband, Chad Thomas of Natchez; stepsons, Benjamin Thomas and Hayes Thomas of Natchez; father, Dustin Turner and Pam; mother, Chrissie Scott Maddox; sisters, Brittany Danielle Scott, Whitney Paige Turner, and Destiny Chance Turner; paternal grandmother, Donna Gaye Weadock; maternal grandparents, Candy Ann Juneau and George David Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
