Funeral services for Trevaughn Dechartez Donaldson, 28, of Church Hill, who died on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, in Mesquite, TX, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Linwood Baptist Church in Church Hill, MS with Pastor D. W. Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at the Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, from noon until the time of the service at the church.

Trevaughn was born on Oct. 17, 1995, the son of Lucille Rogers Donaldson and Charles Donaldson, Sr. He was a graduate of Jefferson County High School, Class of 2014. He completed his Welding and Mechanic certification at Copiah Lincoln Community College. Travaughn was a truck driver. In his spare time, he loved horses, participating in rodeos, and hunting. He was a lovable person and never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie Lee Rogers, George Donaldson, and Luciel Donaldson; uncles, Leroy Hunter and Don Donaldson; and aunts, Dorothy “Darlene” Jackson and Allene Green.

Trevaughn leaves to cherish his memories: his parents; sons, Trevaughn Donaldson, Jr., and Tre’Shawn Donaldson; daughter, Jazmoniee Donaldson; brothers, Derrick Rogers (Lekechia) and Charles Donaldson, Jr.; sister, Lyvonne McMorris; grandmother, Della Jean Rogers; aunts, Patricia Earls (James), Carolyn Brown (Dalton), Michelle Anderson (Eliza), and Shirley Daniels; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
