NATCHEZ — Vintage Hitchcock, a live radio play of vintage commercials, premiered at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Natchez Little Theatre with continued showings at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23; Saturday, Aug. 24, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
With a live vintage radio show acted out on stage, the show is a first of its kind at the Little Theatre, Director Devin Arnold said.
Known as the “Master of Suspense,” spies, murder, love and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock will come to life on the little theater stage in the style of the 1940s radio broadcast with “The Lodger,” “Sabotage,” and “The 39 Steps.”
General admission tickets to each show at the nonprofit Natchez Little Theatre at 319 Linton Ave. are $25 each. Seniors, students and military tickets are $15 each.
Every ticket supports this and future productions at Mississippi’s oldest community theater — established in 1932 — and helps artistically grow and boost the confidence of talented children, youth and adults in the community.
