NATCHEZ — Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson will kick off a city beautification campaign and give updates on downtown projects at a “Fall in Love with Natchez” event on Monday at 4 p.m. at the Natchez Grand Hotel.

Gibson said he would discuss plans for a Fall Clean-up Day, provide updates on the Forks to Freedom Corridor, and give an Eola Hotel progress report.

Kevin Miers, executive director of the Downtown Natchez Alliance, Tracy McCartney of Keep Natchez Beautiful, and Hayes Dent, developer of The Eola Hotel, will be on hand to provide details and answer questions about their respective projects.

Gibson said participants are asked to come prepared to share ideas on ways to keep Natchez beautiful.
