She was married to Robert William Millican of Natchez. Affectionately known as “Bobby.” Mr. Millican predeceased her as did her parents and sister, Carolyn Belt.

At the time of her death, she was a homemaker, and for many years prior she was the Office Manager of The Life of Georgia Insurance Company in Natchez.

She is survived by her two stepchildren, Robert Edward Millican and Dr. Martha Millican Smith, and her many friends and classmates of Cathedral and Natchez High School as well as her ten or more neighborhood cats whom she tended to every day, and by her friends at Natchez Chevrolet where she was known as the Cadillac Lady.

Special thanks to her friends, Mary Ruth Maier, Keli Traylor, Bonnie Pritzer, and Marie Vandenborg for their kindness, and especially during her last days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Basilica or a charity of one’s choice.

A Memorial service will be held at the Natchez City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024,

with Rev. Aaron M. Williams of St. Mary Basilica officiating and under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
