Third teen arrested after late Sunday shooting in Ferriday

FERRIDAY, La. — Ferriday Police Department has arrested another 17-year-old in connection with a late Sunday evening shooting on Second Street.
Quinnton Webber, 17, who is from Ferriday, has been arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
Police earlier arrested Charles Edwards Davis, 17, who is also from Ferriday, and Davonta Deshaun James, 17, from Natchez related to the late Sunday incident where shots were fired into a home occupied by two juveniles, one of which was a 5-month-old baby, and an elderly grandmother.
No one was injured during the shooting, but there were damages to two vehicles and the home itself when the shots were fired, authorities said.
James was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, felony criminal damage to property and illegal use of a firearm.
Davis was arrested on charges of principal to aggravated assault and principal to felony criminal damage to property.
Interim Ferriday Chief Derrick Freeman said of the suspects, “I think we’ve got everyone needed on this case, but they’re not talking.”
No additional details or motive is available because the investigation is ongoing, Freeman said.
Each of the three men are being house at Concordia Parish Correctional Facility on Louisiana Highway 15 as of Friday afternoon.
